CommonTime in person? You bet!

Throughout this month, CommonTime artists Kanchana and Sonali will be hosting in-person arts lessons in Böblingen, Germany on Indian folk art and Bollywood dance. The location is Namaste India, a shop that specializes in authentic Indian goods. Upstairs, they offer an arts space that is a place for community members to share and enjoy the culture of Germany’s Indian diaspora.

We travel and move to new countries for many reasons. Staying connected to one's culture can be difficult, but with CommonTime it’s as easy as an arts lesson online or in person. When you’re learning with a CommonTime teaching artist, you’re learning about their culture, too!

If you are interested in custom courses online or in person, contact us at info@commontime.online.

Thank you for being an important part of the CommonTime family. Your trust, belief, and support in CommonTime have helped us build a platform that is connecting artists across the world to the learners who need them.

Our Wefunder campaign will help us take our growth to the next level and share the CommonTime experience with an even wider community of educators and learners. With your investment, we can connect learners around the world to teaching artists like Kanchana and Sonali, who are already enriching the lives of learners by teaching them about different kinds of Indian art.

Here is your chance to help professional artists, like Kanchana and Sonali, by becoming an investor in CommonTime. Investments start as low as $100

This month’s featured Arts Organization is the Orchester der Kulturen! Based in Stuttgart, Germany, the Orchester der Kulturen connects the world with musicians and singers from all corners of our planet. Their specialty is bringing together the musical diversity of humanity into a new sound of unity and harmony.

Not only does the Orchester offer digital content and online events, but they also connect their artists in person when possible! They recently supported CommonTime’s two-day event in Germany for students from the Good Hope School in Hong Kong by providing teaching artists and masterclasses.

“I joined CommonTime to share my art, teach globally, and connect with fellow artists. CommonTime has allowed me to teach and interact with students from all over the world. CommonTime is a unique platform that fills an important gap in the arts education landscape, and that's why I love being part of this movement.”
