Growing up, I was always getting in trouble for making beats with pencils on my desk. As I began to teach, many students do the same. What if we harnessed that and used it as a way to teach music tech and rhythm? That's what we're doing here. Students will use pencils and pens to study rhythm and learn some popular grooves. We will also use the Drumbit.app google chrome extension to composer and perform our pencil beats.
