Dear Arts Lovers,
You don’t need to worry about March 15th, also known as the Ides of March. For Julius Caesar, it wasn’t a great day, but for the rest of us, it is the awakening of nature, of bird songs in the pre-dawn, of flowers and colors. It is the month of St. Patrick’s Day (Ireland, March 17th); Nowruz (Central Asia, March 21st); the Vernal Equinox on March 21st; and Holi, The Festival of Colors (India, March 25th). Soon it will lead to Easter, Songkran, and many more festivals as we move on from the end of the previous year and into the changing of seasons. For those of you who are in the tropics or subtropical regions, it’s time to greet a new vibrancy and weather.
It is a time of singing, dancing, music, plays, art, and being outdoors in nature.
It is a time of color, creativity, festivals, and social gatherings.
It is a time of hope springing eternal.
Enjoy YOUR creative awakening and be inspired by what this season has in store for you!

Funnylicious Theater is the latest addition to Bratislava's growing arts scene, offering a unique blend of comedy, improv, live theater, and culture. They’re excited to announce their planned grand opening, taking place from March 22nd to March 24th. It will be two days filled with live performances, classes, fun, culture, and partying! Located in the heart of Bratislava, this small but unique theater space is set to host a variety of exciting shows and performances, with regular collaborations with local artists and theaters.
Funnylicious Theater’s backstory is quite unique. Founded in 2014 by Hon Chong, an immigrant from Malaysia living in Bratislava, Funnylicious started as an informal get-together of a group of people who just wanted to have fun doing improv, and it took off from there. This year in October, Funnylicious will celebrate its 10th anniversary.
As for their upcoming shows, they have a diverse lineup planned to cater to all tastes, including improvised and scripted theatrical performances, variety shows, slam poetry, storytelling, and interactive workshops. You can find more information about the theater and upcoming events on their website and Facebook.
