Hello, CommonTime Community!
Here at CommonTime, we believe that every learner should have access to quality, unforgettable arts experiences.
Group and Guild Membership plans, especially when combined with CommonTime Credits, make it even easier to book arts lessons and events with vetted teaching artists. Here’s how it works:
To purchase a CommonTime Membership, visit the Membership page. If you would like to enjoy Membership benefits on your personal CommonTime account, we recommend a Single Membership. If you would like to share your Membership benefits with other users, such as educators in your school or employees in your company, then a Group or Guild Membership is for you!
Don’t have access to a credit card? Not a problem! CommonTime Memberships can be purchased via wire transfer. Look for the following section at the bottom of the Membership Details box on the Membership page.
Once you purchase a Group or Guild Membership, you are able to share your Membership benefits with other CommonTime users. With a Group Membership, you can add up to 20 accounts, and with a Guild Membership, you can add up to 100! Any of the four account types (Educator, Artist, Individual, and Arts Organization) are able to purchase or join a Membership.
After purchasing a Membership, you can visit the Membership tab of your My Account page to view and manage your Membership Details.
If you are the owner of a Group or Guild Membership, this is where you can find your Membership Code. Your Membership Code is a unique 6-letter code that allows you to add other CommonTime users to your Membership. If they don’t have a CommonTime account, they can sign up for free. Simply share your Membership Code, via email or chat, with the CommonTime users you would like to add to your Membership, and then they can redeem the code in the Membership tab of their My Account page to join your Membership.
As the owner of a Group or Guild Membership, you can see a list of users who are currently part of your Membership in the Membership tab of your My Account page. You have the ability to remove any user from your Membership by clicking the orange X button next to their details; this action can not be undone, but the user can re-join your Membership by redeeming the Membership Code again.
All users on a Group or Guild Membership gain access to the corresponding Membership benefits, including discounts, special events, curated lessons, and more (click here for a full list of membership benefits). In addition to these benefits, members of a Group and Guild Membership also enjoy access to Membership Credits – CommonTime Credits purchased by the Membership owner to be used by the Group or Guild members.
Any Membership Credits purchased by the Membership owner in the Membership tab can be used by the Group or Guild members to pay for their bookings on CommonTime. Membership Credits are a great way for the administrator of a school or company to give their educators or employees access to quality arts experiences.
