Greetings, music lovers!
You’re invited to the CommonTime Indigenous Music Festival! This July, enjoy special concerts highlighting different instruments and cultures from around the world. These one-of-a-kind livestream events align with CommonTime’s mission of using the Arts to build and utilize cross-cultural connections and arts communities.
The CommonTime Indigenous Music Festival features indigenous musical arts showcased by Jeffrey, Farzin and Pranoy.
Jeffrey’s expert performance on the Guqin, a Chinese Zither, is guaranteed to transport you back in time to the building of China’s Forbidden City. Farzin’s kamancheh stylings are a surefire way to imagine yourself as a trader, making a living on the Silk Road in the time of Marco Polo. Pranoy’s infectious tabla rhythms echo the sounds of a busy West Bengal street.
Join us for a cultural celebration. Music is the medium – cultural connections are the goal. Travel the world of music from wherever you are on CommonTime!
