In the second libretto by Lorenzo da Ponte, we find the Count being less than faithful to the Countess, and his attentions diverted to the young "maids" that are found in the castle. One is Figaro's fiance Susanna. Will Figaro be able to turn the Count's attention away from Susanna and back to the Countess? Will Cherubino be forced into the army instead of being the companion to the Countess? Hilarity unfolds in this delightful Mozart opera - appropriate for the whole audience.
