With Sarah, you will find yourself ready to use stage improvisation, presentation and speech to confidently share your ideas, presentations and interviews. Students will learn step by step different elements and techniques for presenting, storytelling and holding speeches. The course is very interactive and includes movement. So please make sure you have some space around you to move. A welcome side-effect will be laughter and learning new things about various topics. At the end of this course students will be able to speak confidently in front of others, create engaging speeches, stories and presentations, and respond spontaneously to questions and conversation prompts. Week 1: We will get to know each other and build trust in the group Week 2: We will build confidence and practice a presenter’s mindset Week 3: We will practice telling stories Week 4: We will practice how to use our voices effectively Week 5: We will practice using our voices and pace to engage the audience Week 6: We will practice using body language effectively Week 7: We will look at using emotions in speeches Week 8: We will learn techniques for staying calm on stage and dealing with nervousness (stage fright) Week 9-10: We will learn and practice how to structure speeches Week 11: We will learn different techniques to engage with the audience Week 12-13 : We will practice presenting with partners Week 14-15 : We will practice presenting by ourselves Week 16: We will present our final presentations
